Was just doin’ mah Twitter thang (I know, I’m so with-it) and saw the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea‘s tweet about summer activities going on in the borough for its youth residents:
This gave me the idea, then, to explore what other London-wide online resources are available to parents needing to occupy, I mean, enrich and cultivate their children while they’re off on summer holiday. Be they small children or teenagers, there’s quite a bit going on in this city to keep them entertained and hopefully continue their education outside of school via individual events or day camps. A few resources you can consult follow:
Young London – Mayor’s Website for Young Londoners
London for Kids.net – All London. All Kids. All the Time. Find child-friendly things to do in London!
ViewLondon.co.uk – Summer Holiday London
Summer Fun 4 Kids – The UK Directory of Summer Holiday Camps & Courses
So if you’ve already relocated to London or plan to move here this summer, hopefully that gives you some food for thought on how to keep your young whippersnappers whippin’ and snappin’ during their summer holidays so they can expend all that energy outside of your home (you know, the awesome one that London Relocation Ltd. placed or will place you in)—and, most importantly, have a lot of fun doing it!
